Epic Squeeze, is a volatility and momentum indicator originally introduced by John Carter with multiple variations now created around the concept which capitalizes on the tendency for price to break out strongly after consolidating in a tight trading range.

Their are three types of configuration setups within Epic Squeeze, with the initial setup based on when the Bollinger Bands expand and move back outside of the Keltner Channel.

Epic Squeeze measures both volatility and momentum to spot trading opportunities based on volatility changes in a security.

The volatility component of the indicator (the squeeze dots) signals potential breakouts after periods of low volatility. The momentum histogram indicates the likely direction of the breakout and can help to determine exit points.

Maximum Chop (utilizes the NinjaTrader Choppiness indicator, this value can be adjusted to avoid entry during choppy trading volatility).

Take Profits "N" Bars Up (if number of consecutive bars in your trade direction, allow you to take profits and exit trade).
Bars Required Before ReEntry (can avoid immediate entry back into position that might be a choppy or want to avoid)
Enable Exit After "X" Bars - Automatically exit position "X" bars after entry
Set Stop Loss Break Even after "X" bars
Exit Reverse Tail (exit exit position if a reverse tail or wick is triggered)
